By accessing or using Klippy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Klippy is an automated stream clipping service that monitors publicly available Kick.com stream data, detects hype moments based on chat activity, and generates video clips. The Service is offered in multiple tiers, each with its own streamer-monitoring limits and clip retention period, as described on our pricing page.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use Klippy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Klippy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to monitor streams without appropriate authorization, distribute clips in a manner that infringes on intellectual property rights, harass or harm any individual or streamer, attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent our systems, or resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization for any stream you choose to monitor.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
You acknowledge that stream content belongs to the respective streamers and broadcasters. Klippy provides a technical tool for clip generation — you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights or permissions to clip, store, and distribute any content you generate using our Service. We are not responsible for any intellectual property claims arising from your use of clips generated by Klippy.
6. DMCA and Copyright
Klippy respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content stored through our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at dmca@klippy.io with a description of the claimed infringement, the location of the infringing material, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief. We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly.
7. Subscription and Payment
Klippy offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor — Klippy does not store your card details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard billing portal.
8. Usage Limits
Each tier includes a limit on the number of streamers you can monitor at once, as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of Klippy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard, which immediately and permanently deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Klippy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that clips will always be captured successfully. Stream availability, chat data, and detection accuracy may vary. We are not responsible for missed clips or detection failures.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klippy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.
13. Governing Law
